Good food. Good service. Prawns lollipop was not that good. The squid Masala was very tasty and is a must try...
Everybody had recommend this place, recently my fiancé suggested while we were shopping for wedding. Loved everything. We took a bombil fry thali which was too good in taste. However we took an add on of masala prawn- prawns weren’t fresh, may be it was kept/ cooked for a long time.
Gomantak Boarding House in Mumbai is famous for its sea food & chicken thali with kobdi vade and delicious seafood. Highlights: Authentic Malvani flavors Fresh seafood Welcoming atmosphere Downsides: No online payment Occasional slow service Overall, it’s a great spot for traditional Malvani cuisine, but be prepared for cash payments and possible wait times.
We ordered 1. Pomfret Fry Thaali (4/5) 2. Surmai Fry Thaali (4/5) 3. Prawns Fry (4/5) 4. Extra Solkadi (5/5) For both the thaali's I did not like the curry much. It did not taste well.
The Special Fish Thali at Gomantak Boarding House is a treat for seafood lovers. The fresh fish is perfectly spiced and served with a variety of traditional Goan sides like sol kadi, fried fish, and coconut-based curry. Each component is flavorful, making the meal a great balance of taste and texture. The simple ambiance lets the food take center stage, making this thali a must-try for an authentic Goan experience.
Located in shivaji park area of the dadar which is at walkable distance from dadar railway station. We ordered veg thali, surmai fry, prawns thali and mutton thali. Prawns thali was not that great but rest of the food was delicious. Service is quick and staff is polite and courteous. Overall experience was good
Pomfret thali was super fresh ! It was a good experience. It was naturally crowded since the food is good
